This is the solar system that my characters live in. I was busy fully mapping out the story and I decided to start with the planets and the star. Pretty pretty blue star ~pets~ 13 planets is a nice number. Or are some of them "Dwarf planets" ^_~ (sorry, astrology geek-dom)

OOOOO! Pretty! *loves space art*

Though from an astronomical standpoint, the planets are much too close together... They would have collided long ago, or been torn apart by each other's gravity fields... ^_^; And are they all Terrestial (rocky) planets, or are some gas giants?

They look close together because of the angles, I couldn't get the picture large enough without having an awkward canvas, but in this 'galaxy' several of the planets travel in opposite directions, because of that it pulls others from colliding. Of course this is just a basic reference, the actualy distances would be much further away than that ^^;
